1. Technical Components of EVSE Systems: Exploring the hardware elements that constitute electric vehicle service equipment, from charging stations to power distribution units.

2. Software Integration: Understanding the role of software in EVSE infrastructure, including charging station management, data analytics, and user interfaces.

3. Installation Best Practices: Guidelines and best practices for the effective and safe installation of EVSE systems, considering factors such as location, power requirements, and accessibility.

4. Operational Considerations: Examining the day-to-day operations of EVSE infrastructure, including user interaction, payment systems, and data monitoring.

5. Maintenance Protocols: Insight into maintenance procedures for ensuring the reliability and longevity of EVSE systems, covering routine checks, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Enid Joffe is the Electrification Specialist at SkillFusion, a company with a unique approach to providing electric vehicle operations and maintenance (O&M) service providers with access to a nation-wide credentialed talent pool for electric vehicle service equipment (EVSE) O&M obligations. With more than 30 decades in transportation electrification, Joffe is focused on policies and regulations and equity-related workforce development.  

Additionally, Joffe is also the President of Green Paradigm Consulting, a firm focused on clean energy infrastructure project development, development and implementation of EV readiness plans, community outreach, grant writing, and project administration. Joffe’s career has also included roles with Electric Transportation Division of Southern California Edison and Edison EV, one of the first EV charging service providers.  She also co-founded Clean Fuel Connection to serve the growing market for electric vehicle infrastructure, which was responsible for the install of thousands of workplaces and public charging stations for customers such as Kaiser Permanente, Disney, CBRE, and dozens of local governments. 
Joffe is a graduate of Barnard College and has a master's degree from UCLA. For more than a decade, she was active in local government in her hometown, serving on the City Planning Commission, General Plan Committee, City Council and as Mayor of Sierra Madre.

Dave Packard

Dave Packard is the Chief Strategy Officer of SkillFusion, a unique approach to providing electric vehicle operations and maintenance (O&M) service providers with access to a nation-wide credentialed talent pool for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) O&M obligations. Packard is pioneer in transportation electrification and a recognized leader with more than 30 years of experience in EV charging infrastructure, network connectivity, and utility EV infrastructure incentive programs.

Prior to SkillFusion, Packard had founded several EV infrastructure companies including ClipperCreek–a non-networked charging station provider–where he served as President until joining ChargePoint–the leading networked charging station provider in North America–as Vice President of Utility Solutions. Packard entered the EV industry in the early 1990s as Vice President of Sales at EPTI supporting a rapid battery charging startup. Additionally, Packard is a trusted advisor and consultant serving the EV charging infrastructure sector, providing expertise on business development, strategy, and utility infrastructure development.
